The Rivals

Apologies for the lack of updates, this semester has been obnoxiously busy, so much so that I've hardly had time to procrastinate at all (scandal!).

Spring Break was this past week, so Bear and I went home. Unfortunately, Pikachu was not pleased. For a long time, Pikachu had been the stuffed animal guarding my bed up here in College-land, until Bear came along and stole his spot on my bed. To add insult to injury, when I moved apartments this past Fall, Pikachu, along with many other childhood stuffed friends, were sent home in preparation for my graduation this summer, while Bear became the new Chief of Bed. They managed to stick out the week sharing my bed at home without too much confrontation.

At least one of us is on task, right?

I can't help it, art history puts me to sleep...

In which the first distraction happened and Bear wanted to post about it

For archiving sake, we (that is Bear and I) thought we would at least put up the first distraction that started the idea for this blog. I was supposed to be writing a paper for my History and Criticism of Art II class, when I was struck with the idea to do anything but, at least for a moment. The picture here is the result of those wasted (but amusing) 15 minutes.

While we don't expect anyone to take this blog seriously (honestly we're just posting for the soul purpose of cluttering the internet with yet another blog (read: it's more interesting than posting on Facebook)), if it turns out our photos by chance put even a small smile on your face, we'll consider it a job well done for a world filled with people who want to procrastinate but have nothing (or no one) to tell them it's all right. A post a week is the name of the game.

This, of course as I'm being reminded even as I type this, is subject to my own tendencies to be doing anything but what I'm supposed to be. Let's see how distracted I get.

Cheers,
Tasha and Bear
